Vince Lombardi once said, “People who work together will win.” The C4 Group believes that statement is totally accurate and knows that for the faith community to be a viable solution provider for the youth of America, they must work as one. Out of this realization and need, the National Council for Faith-Based Youth (NCFBY) was established.
Why the NCFBY exists
The NCFBY was established to serve as a liaison of relationships and actions regarding the issues affecting the youth within the faith community. We do this by providing communication between the faith community and the other solution providers – government entities, corporations and businesses, and volunteer and philanthropic givers. We also collaborate on large-scale initiatives that can only be accomplished by joint effort taking place.
Who the NCFBY is
This Council is comprised of leaders within the faith community, denominations, and ministry organizations across the country. These organizations are national in scope and influence, and come together through the NCFBY for collaborative effort.
What the NCFBY does
Together, we work to develop, fund, and implement efforts to positively affect youth in areas the Council has determined as having the most negative impact on youth. Currently, we are focusing on four target areas – health, family, ethics, and emerging issues. Under two of these areas, and together with The C4 Group, the NCFBY is currently sponsoring Caring 4 Foster Youth and Ethical Revolution.
